Legendary Coach Retires

Growing up in Bloomington, IN you either loved or hated Bobby Knight….like many, I love him!  It was a sad day when Indiana University encouraged him to leave IU and move onto another college.

“Anyone that knows anything about basketball knows that he’s one of the best teachers of the game in all aspects,” the former U.C.L.A. coach John Wooden said in a telephone interview. “The only thing about his teaching was his methods, his language and being physical. But he was a great teacher of the game. There’s never been a better teacher of the game than Bobby Knight.”
